Streesmutprakan Students Explore Future Pathways at AU Suvarnabhumi Campus

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed students and faculty members from Streesmutprakan School to Chinese Culture workshop at  the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU), Suvarnabhumi Campus for an educational visit designed to introduce young learners to university life, academic pathways, and the possibilities that begin beyond the classroom.

The visit gave students the opportunity to experience AU’s international learning environment firsthand.

Throughout the campus tour, participants explored key facilities, met with university representatives, and gained a closer look at the academic atmosphere, student life, and global outlook that shape the AU experience.

For many students, the visit was more than a walk through lecture halls and campus buildings. It was a chance to imagine their next chapter. From modern learning spaces to the wider campus environment, the tour offered a glimpse into how university education can connect personal interests with future study, career direction, and international opportunity.

Streesmutprakan School, one of Samut Prakan’s well-known secondary schools, offers a range of lower and upper secondary programs, including pathways in science, mathematics, technology, English, and general studies. The school’s curriculum includes programs such as the Enrichment Program of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, the English Program, the Mini English Program, and other academic tracks that support students’ preparation for higher education.

The visit reflected AU’s continued commitment to building meaningful connections with schools and communities across Thailand. By opening the campus to secondary school students, AU aims to support early university awareness, encourage educational aspiration, and help students see higher education not as a distant idea, but as a real and reachable future.

The day also created opportunities for faculty members and school representatives to exchange perspectives on student development, academic readiness, and the importance of helping young learners make informed choices about their future studies.

Set across the spacious Suvarnabhumi Campus, the visit introduced students to a university environment known for its international character, multicultural community, and strong emphasis on academic and personal growth. For the visiting students, the experience offered both practical information and something harder to measure but easier to recognize: motivation.

As the tour concluded, students left with a clearer picture of university life and a stronger sense of what may lie ahead. For AU, the visit was another opportunity to welcome future learners, strengthen school-university engagement, and remind students that the path to higher education often begins with a single visit, a good question, and a little curiosity.
