Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed a delegation from Toyo University, Japan, on August 13, 2026, for a visit connecting two universities—and two AU campuses—in one memorable day.
Hosted by AU’s Office of International Affairs, the delegation began at the Hua Mak Campus before continuing to the Suvarnabhumi Campus. The journey gave the visitors an opportunity to experience the different character of each location while discovering the shared spirit of learning, hospitality and international friendship that unites the AU community.
The morning began at Hua Mak, AU’s historic city campus in Bangkok. The delegation later travelled to Suvarnabhumi, where the Thai Pavilion provided a fitting setting for the next chapter of their visit and a closer look at the University’s distinctive architecture and multicultural learning environment.
Moving between the two campuses offered more than a change of scenery. It presented a fuller picture of life at Assumption University, from the close-knit atmosphere of Hua Mak to the open spaces and striking surroundings of Suvarnabhumi.
The visit also brought together two institutions with deep educational roots and a strong international outlook.
AU was pleased to share its campuses with the Toyo University delegation and to extend the friendship and hospitality for which its international community is known.
Campus visits may begin with buildings and programmes, but their lasting value comes from people meeting, learning from one another and returning home with a better understanding of the world beyond their own university. The visit by Toyo University captured that spirit and added another meaningful connection to AU’s growing international story.
