Celebrating 125 Years of the Brothers of Saint Gabriel

Assumption College Sriracha Students Discovered New Pathways at AU Arts

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed students and teachers from Assumption College Sriracha to the Suvarnabhumi Campus on August 13, 2026, for a closer look at university life and the opportunities awaiting them at the Theodore Maria School of Arts.

The visitors were welcomed to the Faculty of Arts and the Cathedral of Learning, where language, culture, communication and professional preparation come together in an international learning environment.

For the visiting students, the day offered more than an introduction to academic programmes. It gave them the chance to picture themselves taking the next step—from secondary school classrooms to university studies and, ultimately, careers that could connect them with people and opportunities around the world.

The Faculty of Arts offers programmes in International Business Languages, including English, French, Chinese and Japanese, as well as English-Chinese for Digital Communication. Its approach combines language ability with cultural awareness, ethical values and the communication skills required in international workplaces.

The visit carried special meaning because Assumption College Sriracha and Assumption University share the educational heritage of the Brothers of Saint Gabriel. That connection made the students more than campus visitors; they arrived as members of the wider Gabrielite family.

Established in 1944, Assumption College Sriracha has grown into one of Chonburi’s best-known educational institutions. Guided by the Gabrielite tradition, the school continues to prepare young people through education grounded in knowledge, character and service.

From Sriracha to Suvarnabhumi, the students may not have travelled far geographically, but the visit opened a window onto a much bigger world of possibilities.

AU was delighted to welcome the group and hoped the experience encouraged each student to think confidently about the languages they might learn, the careers they might pursue and the person they hoped to become.
