Assumption University of Thailand’s Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation, opened two future-focused certificate programs at AU Hua Mak Campus on June 14, 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers, industry professionals and innovators ready to strengthen Thailand’s food and biotechnology sectors.
The opening ceremony marked the launch of Certificate Program in International Safety Standards with Digital Innovation for Food and Biotechnology Industry and Advancing Future Food for Global Markets through Digital Technology. The programs were designed to support professional development in international food safety standards, digital innovation, future-food product development, biotechnology and global market readiness.
With 80 participants joining across the two programs, the initiative reflected the strong demand for practical, industry-connected learning in food technology and biotechnology. Participants included entrepreneurs, researchers, personnel from the food industry and those interested in the future of food and biotechnology.
The ceremony was joined by executives from Assumption University of Thailand, representatives from the Thai Future Food Trade Association, and partner organizations, who came together to support talent development for the future of Thailand’s food and biotechnology industries.
Through these certificate programs, AU continued to advance its commitment to developing skilled professionals who can apply digital tools, strengthen production quality, meet international safety standards and support Thailand’s growing role in the global future-food economy.
