AU Sports Staff Put Safety First at National Policy Seminar

From policy to practice, AU representatives strengthened the playbook for athlete protection.

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) took another winning step toward safer sport when staff from its Center for Sports and Physical Fitness joined an academic seminar on the National Sports Safety Policy on August 28, 2026.

Mr. Kasikrid Muntasut and Mr. Tanatchai Srijanin represented the Center at the Convention Hall, The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel in Bangkok. The seminar was held under the theme Protecting and Ensuring the Safety of Athletes: From Policy to Practice”.

The event brought academic and sports professionals together to exchange knowledge on athlete protection and turn national policy into practical safety measures. Discussions focused on creating sporting environments that are safe, supportive and sustainable for athletes.

For AU, participation helped keep athlete welfare at the center of the game. It also supported the University’s continued efforts to strengthen professional standards in sports management and physical fitness while building a culture of safety and well-being across its sporting community.
