AU Students Put Safety in Motion

Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  promotes road safety, traffic discipline, and responsible motorcycle riding among students

Assumption University of Thailand, through the Office of Student Affairs and the Center for Student Discipline and Campus Life, in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Thailand, Bang Bo Police Station, and Bang Sao Thong Police Station, organized a motorcycle riding training and driving license testing program from June 18–19, 2026, at Yamaha Riding Academy on Bang Na–Trat Road.

The program was designed to equip students with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to ride motorcycles safely and responsibly. It also aimed to strengthen awareness of road safety, reduce traffic violations and accidents, and encourage responsible behavior that protects both individual riders and the wider community.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Yutthana Suwannatarn, Vice President for Student Affairs. Representatives from the Assumption University Student Organization (AUSO) and international students also participated in the training and license testing program, with 16 students taking part in total.

Over the two-day program, participants received both classroom instruction and hands-on riding practice under the supervision of experienced professionals. The training covered essential traffic laws, road etiquette, risk awareness, safe riding techniques, and practical motorcycle handling skills.

The program was carried out smoothly and successfully, reflecting Assumption University’s commitment to caring for students beyond the classroom. Under the spirit of “We Love, We Care,” the initiative supported students in becoming disciplined, considerate, and responsible road users.
