Assumption University of Thailand (AU), in partnership with the Samut Prakan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, successfully hosted the “Chinese Language Teaching and Learning Development Project” on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Suvarnabhumi Campus.

The event was co-organized by the Samut Prakan Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, the Department of Business ChineseFaculty of Arts, and the Institute for Research and Academic Services, AU.

Marking the second consecutive year of this collaborative initiative, the project builds upon a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster a sustainable, high-quality educational network. The primary goal of the workshop is to empower educators by introducing modern, creative teaching methodologies for Chinese language instruction.

To maximize the learning experience, the workshop was divided into two interactive, tailored sessions:

  • For Educators: Teachers participated in comprehensive training focused on effectively integrating Chinese culture into their curriculum and exploring advanced guidelines for language teaching.
  • For Students: Students engaged in immersive, hands-on cultural and language activities, including vocabulary building, traditional Chinese paper cutting art, and Chinese brush calligraphy
