AU Students Get a Taste of Innovation at ProPak Asia 2026

Students from Assumption University of Thailand’s Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation attended the regional conference “Executive Talk: Leading with Resilience and Innovation” during ProPak Asia 2026 at IMPACT Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, on June 10, 2026.

The conference brought together industry leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across ASEAN and beyond to share insights on how the food and beverage sector can navigate uncertainty, support sustainable growth, and create new opportunities in a changing global market.

For AU students, the event offered a valuable opportunity to connect classroom learning with real industry experience. Speakers from business, academia, research, and technology-driven enterprises shared practical perspectives on resilience, innovation strategy, sustainability, emerging food trends, and the future direction of the food ecosystem.

The learning experience allowed students to broaden their understanding of the challenges and opportunities shaping food biotechnology and innovation today. It also encouraged them to think more deeply about how future food professionals can contribute to healthier, smarter, and more sustainable food systems.

The visit reflected the Theophane Venard School of Food Biotechnology and Innovation’s continued commitment to experiential learning. By engaging students with industry professionals and regional thought leaders, the School continues to prepare graduates who are ready to bring knowledge, creativity, and purpose to the food industry in Thailand and beyond.
