WRITER : THE AU LIBRARY
On February 13, 2025, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed 45 students from St. Joseph Thiphawan School, a prestigious institution known for its commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. The visit and workshop, hosted by the Office of the University Registrar at Suvarnabhumi Campus, aimed to give students a glimpse into University life, inspiring them to pursue higher education while fostering a deeper understanding of AU’s academic environment.
Experience at AU
The students were introduced to the University’s state-of-the-art facilities and experienced a guided campus tour led by AU representatives. They had the opportunity to explore key learning spaces, including lecture halls, libraries, and innovation labs, providing them with a first-hand experience of the dynamic learning atmosphere at AU.
During the workshop session, students participated in engaging activities designed to enhance their academic and career readiness. AU faculty and staff shared valuable insights on university admissions, student life, and future career opportunities. The interactive discussions encouraged students to ask questions and broaden their perspectives on higher education.
A highlight of the visit was the exchange of ideas between AU students and the visiting group, fostering meaningful connections and cultural exchange. The event concluded with a closing session where students expressed their gratitude for the warm hospitality and insightful experience.
About St. Joseph Thiphawan School
St. Joseph Thiphawan School is operated by the Foundation for the Promotion of Education of the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres of Thailand. Established in 1975, the school was made possible through a generous donation by Mr. Wichai Maleenont, Managing Director of Theparak Home and Land Co., Ltd., to Maire Louise Rachit Kitcharoen, the provincial superintendent of the Sisters of St. Paul de Chartres of Thailand and has since grown to provide education from kindergarten to Mathayom 6.
