The Student Affairs team at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) came together for SA Forum 2026, a forward-looking platform designed to align vision, strengthen operations, and prepare the division for a more responsive and student-centered future.
Held on April 27, 2026, at the President House, Suvarnabhumi Campus, the forum brought Student Affairs personnel into a shared space for reflection, planning, and practical collaboration. The event focused on shaping the strategic direction of Student Affairs while strengthening the systems, governance, and sustainable practices needed to support students in 2026 and beyond.
The forum was honored by the presence of Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, and Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Yutthana Suwannatarn, Vice President for Student Affairs, who shared vision, guidance, and strategic insights with the team. Their participation underscored the university’s continued commitment to enhancing student services, improving operational effectiveness, and nurturing a campus environment where students can thrive academically, personally, and socially.
A Forum Built for Alignment
SA Forum 2026 was designed as more than a meeting. It served as a working platform where staff could review performance, exchange ideas, and build a stronger common understanding of the division’s direction. Through structured discussions and action-oriented workshops, participants explored how Student Affairs can continue to evolve in ways that are practical, sustainable, and closely aligned with the needs of today’s students.
The forum featured three key sessions: Vision & Performance Review, Governance in Action Workshop, and Sustainable Operations Workshop. Together, these sessions encouraged participants to look honestly at current practices, identify areas for improvement, and consider how stronger coordination can lead to better service delivery across the division.
Strengthening the Student Experience
At the heart of the forum was a clear message: student development requires both vision and daily operational excellence. From governance to sustainability, the conversations reflected the many ways Student Affairs contributes to the life of the university, supporting students not only through activities and services, but also through systems that help create a more caring, organized, and future-ready campus community.
The event marked an important step in fostering alignment among Student Affairs personnel. By strengthening shared understanding and encouraging collaborative planning, SA Forum 2026 helped position the division to move forward with greater unity, clarity, and purpose.
As AU continues to prepare students for a changing world, Student Affairs remains central to that mission, helping transform campus life into a meaningful journey of growth, responsibility, and belonging.
