ABAC School of Music pulled pop out of the playlist and into the room — loud, close, and undeniably real.
A Live Afternoon at Martin Hall
On 4 February 2026, The Louis Nobiron School of Music (ABAC School of Music), Assumption University of Thailand (AU) turned Martin Hall, Suvarnabhumi Campus into a front-row moment with “Weiwei Han & GeniePak: Live at ABAC”, a live performance and artist talk.
This wasn’t the kind of campus event where you politely clap and check your phone. It had that rare “wait, this is happening right here” energy: two working artists letting students see the gears behind the glitter; how songs are built, how presence is practiced, and how confidence becomes part of the arrangement.
And at AU, it hit the sweet spot: learning that felt like culture, not coursework.
✨Weiwei Han: Big Voice, Sharp Control
A powerful vocalist and rising star, finalist of The Voice Thailand (latest season) and former contestant of Academy Fantasia Season 8 shared her musical journey and delivered a special mini concert live on stage.
Her hit “New York Sour” is a good clue to her appeal: pop that moves like emotion, clean on the surface, complicated underneath. At AU, that translated into a real-time masterclass in performance as craft: how tone, pacing, and intention turn a song into identity.
✨GeniePak: Pop with Personality
A multi-talented singer, TikTok icon, producer, and renowned songwriter brought an insider’s view of modern T-Pop creation, with credits behind hits for leading artists including 4EVE, Ally, Perses, and VIIS, among others.
Her trajectory through the YOUNG YUPP! Project and the way she blends language and cultural cues into catchy pop writing has helped define her signature style in the hit “My Name is Baby”, you could feel the message students took home: the most magnetic artists don’t sand down their edges. They make them part of the hook.
Why It Worked
The event didn’t treat music like magic. It treated it like the job it is; one built on choices such as how to shape a sound, how to tell a story, how to stay evolving when the market (and the algorithm) changes the rules mid-song.
That’s exactly the lane ABAC School of Music keeps owning: closing the gap between artistry and the industry that surrounds it.
About ABAC School of Music
At the ABAC School of Music, the spotlight is only part of the lesson. As the first and only music entrepreneurship program in Thailand and Asia, the School pairs artistic training; performance, songwriting, and production with the real-world mechanics of building a career: audience, identity, platforms, collaboration, project management, and the strategic choices that keep creative work moving. The goal is simple and ambitious: graduates who can make original music and make it last.
