Assumption University of Thailand’s Central Library is now offering the 2030 SDGs Game, a fun and interactive two-hour sustainability learning experience available for AU schools, classes, student clubs, orientations, camps, workshops, retreats, conference breakout sessions, faculty events, and visiting school groups.
The 2030 SDGs Game is a hands-on simulation that takes participants into the year 2030, where they make decisions, manage time and resources, launch projects, and see how individual choices affect the wider world. The activity helps participants understand the connections between people, planet, prosperity, and responsible decision-making.
Designed for both academic and co-curricular settings, the game works well across AU’s diverse schools and programs, including business, sustainability, food biotechnology, law, ethics, communication, tourism, management, and leadership-focused classes. It is also especially suitable for international school students, student organizations, AU camps, and team-building activities.
During the session, participants work together, negotiate, plan, and reflect on how short-term decisions can create long-term impact. The game encourages systems thinking, teamwork, ethical decision-making, SDG awareness, and real-world problem-solving in a lively format that feels more like play than a lecture.
The activity is facilitated by a Certified 2030 SDGs Game Facilitator from the AU Library and can be booked as a stand-alone two-hour session or included as part of a larger event, workshop, retreat, or orientation program.
AU schools, faculty members, departments, student clubs, and external school groups interested in booking the game or learning more may scan the QR code on the flyer or contact AU Library Line: @ist4769e.
