Assumption University of Thailand (AU), led by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, together with members of the University’s senior executive team and AU personnel, participated in the 47th Foundation Anniversary celebration of Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP).
The visit reflected AU’s heartfelt congratulations to ACSP and reaffirmed the close and enduring relationship among the educational institutions under the care of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel in Thailand. The occasion brought together members of the St. Gabriel family in a spirit of faith, gratitude, and shared commitment to education rooted in academic excellence and moral formation.
Prior to the Thanksgiving Mass, representatives of AU’s executive team and personnel presented a commemorative gift to Rev. Bro. Monthol Prathumarach,f.s.g., Ph.D., Director of Assumption College Samutprakarn, in honor of this meaningful milestone. The celebration also included a blessing and anointing ceremony for the glass elevator at the St. Gabriel Building, marking the 47th anniversary with a symbol of progress, accessibility, and continued service to the ACSP community.
The atmosphere throughout the celebration was filled with joy, reverence, and deep gratitude. A Thanksgiving Mass was solemnly presided over by Bishop Silvio Siripong Charatsri, Bishop of the Ratchaburi Diocese, at Rachatasompot Auditorium, located on the 4th floor of the Louis Marie Building. The Mass was attended by Catholic priests, the Brothers of St. Gabriel, executives from affiliated schools, sisters, faculty members, representatives from the Parent Association, alumni, and members of the faithful, who gathered to give thanks to God for ACSP’s 47 years of growth, achievement, and service.
Representing AU at this auspicious occasion were Ms. Chongtip Nawikanjana, Vice President for Administrative Affairs; Acting Sub Lt. Dr. Yuttana Suwannatarn, Vice President for Student Affairs; and Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, Vice President for Moral Development Education. They were joined by AU personnel, whose presence demonstrated the unity, respect, and shared mission that continue to strengthen the St. Gabriel educational network.
On behalf of AU, sincere congratulations were extended to Assumption College Samutprakarn on its 47th Foundation Anniversary. AU wished ACSP continued success as an outstanding institution dedicated to nurturing young people with knowledge, discipline, compassion, and strong moral integrity.
As ACSP moves forward, its legacy remains firmly rooted in the educational vision of St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort and the mission entrusted to the Brothers of St. Gabriel.
