The tournament brought together talented university golfers for a competitive opening round of the 2026 season. Against a strong field, AU’s golfers delivered a confident team performance marked by focus, discipline, and steady play across the course.
Representing AU were three golfers from the Theodore Maria School of Arts: Mr. Noppakrit Jirapiboonsuk, known as “Sobig”; Mr. Paphangkorn Nuprachum, known as “Leo”; and Mr. Akarachai Sakunlee, known as “Peat.” The team also included Mr. Kanniti Nilon, known as “Pun,” from the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts.
Their First Runner-Up finish reflected more than athletic skill. It showed preparation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and the pride of wearing the AU name in competition. From the first tee to the final scorecard, Sobig, Leo, Peat, and Pun gave the AU community a performance to celebrate.
AU extended its warm appreciation to the coaching team, supporters, sponsors, and everyone who cheered behind the scenes. Congratulations to the AU Golf Team on a proud achievement and a strong start to the Chang Golf U-Champions Cup 2026.
