Assumption University of Thailand commemorated a major milestone with the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU), ten years devoted to Chinese language education, cultural exchange, and people-to-people connections between Thailand and China. The celebration took place on 9 February 2026 at John XXIII Conference Hall, Suvarnabhumi Campus.
Ten Years of Impact
Over the past decade, CIAU has served as a consistent bridge between cultures—expanding opportunities for Chinese language learning, strengthening cross-cultural understanding, and supporting meaningful collaboration across the AU community and beyond.
A Celebration with Meaning—and Momentum
The anniversary program reflected both pride and purpose, featuring a Dragon & Lion Dance opening, remarks and addresses by distinguished guests, an awards presentation, cultural performances, and a multilingual book donation ceremony of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, followed by a group photo to close the morning.
The Next Chapter Starts Now
More than a ceremonial marker, CIAU’s 10th anniversary reaffirmed a shared commitment to sustained educational and cultural exchange-setting the stage for the Institute’s next decade of partnership, innovation, and deeper Thailand-China academic ties.
