Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed students, faculty, and staff to a special workshop titled “Understanding MBTI for Your Mental Health” on November 27, 2025 led by Sally Tan and her certified MBTI training team from Brighton Academy Singapore. The half-day session, held at the Suvarnabhumi campus, aimed to help the AU community deepen their self-awareness, improve communication, and strengthen mental well-being.
About MBTI
The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is one of the world’s most recognized personality assessment tools. Built on the psychological theories of Carl Jung, MBTI helps individuals understand how they perceive information, make decisions, and interact with others.
From university students navigating group projects to professionals managing stress or leadership roles, MBTI offers practical insights that support:
• clearer self-understanding
• healthier communication
• improved teamwork
• personal growth and mental resilience
At AU, this workshop provided participants with a chance to explore their personality preferences in a supportive and engaging environment, guided by experts certified in psychological type analysis.
Throughout the lively three-hour session, attendees learned how their MBTI types influence study habits, stress responses, workplace behavior, and relationships. The facilitators also shared strategies for enhancing emotional well-being by using one’s natural strengths and recognizing potential blind spots.
The workshop was open to the entire university community, reflecting AU’s ongoing commitment to holistic education and student support.
