On 24 June 2025, students from the BF6701 Financial Management class at the Graduate School of Business and Advanced Technology Management, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) had the opportunity to visit the Cooperative and Dual Education Centre of Betagro Public Company Limited (BTG)—a trailblazer in Thailand’s agro-industrial and food sector, inspired by the purpose to enrich people’s lives with Better Food.
At Betagro, “Better Food” is defined by the highest food safety standards, superior quality and deliciousness, fair prices, and sustainable production. The company’s belief that people must have choices—and we must work hard to deserve their trust resonated deeply with the students, as every aspect of the visit reflected this philosophy.

Under the theme “Driving Excellence in Corporate Finance”, Mr. Jaruwat Chawalitchiwin, Vice President – Investment Management and Ms. Kobkaew Jumsai Na Ayudhya, Vice President- Corporate Finance kindly shared with expertise, offering students the inside look into how Betagro applies financial strategy, advanced technology, and cross-functional expertise to manage funding, cash flow, and foreign exchange on both a national and global scale.
The session showcased Betagro’s Corporate Finance and Investment teams’ innovation, efficiency, and financial excellence that support the corporate growth and sustainability. Students were impressed by the company’s diversified operations—spanning animal feed, livestock, pork, chicken, eggs, pet food, and processed food—distributed across Thailand and exported to over 20 countries. With regional investments, robust R&D, and internationally certified quality systems, Betagro demonstrated what it means to lead with purpose and precision.

Wanprakorn Phrompocheunbun, representative from MBA Fast Track Program shared:
“We appreciate the unique learning opportunities, in-depth sharing from the senior leadership team and team members across the corporate finance function and investment team. We learned how strategy, technology, and finance concepts are applied in practice to drive excellence in the management of day-to-day funding and cash, and foreign exchange management at the scale of national and international level. We are grateful for this opportunity, which enables us to realize how the concepts taught in class come to life.”
The session concluded with a dynamic Q&A and group photo—capping off a visit that seamlessly connected academic theory with real-world application.
