IELE Language Café Encourages Fun, Real World Language Learning

On April 29, 2026, the Institute for English Language Education (IELE), Theodore Maria School of Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  brought learning to life by hosting the IELE Language Café Summer Session for newly admitted Foundation English students, encouraging them to explore language learning beyond the classroom.

The event featured interactive game booths, along with snacks and drinks, creating a friendly café-style atmosphere where students could practice English naturally through play, conversation, and teamwork. The activities were designed to build confidence and help students see English as a tool for real communication.

“This event made learning English fun and not stressful,” said one Foundation English student. “I felt more confident speaking with my friends.”

Another student shared, “The games helped me use English without worrying about mistakes. I really enjoyed the relaxed environment.”

The IELE Language Café reflects IELE’s commitment to student‑centered learning by combining enjoyment with meaningful language practice. Through activities like this, IELE continues to inspire students to develop their English skills while building confidence, motivation, and a strong learning community.
