Assumption University of Thailand (AU) achieved an impressive overall runner-up finish at the 10th Private Universities Staff Games, known as UNITY X GAMES, held at Pathumthani University on July 18, 2026.
The competition brought together staff athletes representing 18 private universities from across Thailand.
Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of Assumption University, attended the opening ceremony and offered his encouragement to the AU delegation.
AU athletes earned eight medals across five sports, including the championship in men’s singles table tennis.

Silver Medal: Women’s Doubles Petanque
Silver Medal: Mixed Ballroom Dancing
Silver Medal: Women’s Checkers
Bronze Medal: Men’s Checkers
Bronze Medal: Women’s Doubles Badminton
With one gold, five silver and two bronze medals, Assumption University finished as the overall runner-up among the 18 participating institutions. The achievement reflected the athletic ability, teamwork and dedication of AU staff members.
Thonburi University will host the 11th Private Universities Staff Games in 2027.
