AU Gets Classrooms Ready for a Smart Start

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) completed a classroom readiness inspection before the opening of Semester 1, Academic Year 2026. The initiative was carried out by the Office of the Vice President for Administrative Affairs in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology Services, helping ensure that classrooms, learning spaces and teaching equipment were ready to support students and faculty from the first day of the new semester.

The inspection covered 46 classrooms at Hua Mak Campus and 302 classrooms at Suvarnabhumi Campus, reflecting AU’s continued attention to safe, functional and student-centered learning environments.

Classrooms Checked, Comfort Secured

The preparation included a full review of classroom conditions, including cleanliness, room structure, desks, chairs and the general physical environment. Air-conditioning systems, fans and ventilation were also cleaned and checked to help create comfortable spaces for teaching and learning. Electrical systems, lighting, switches and power outlets were inspected to ensure that classrooms met appropriate safety standards.

Technology Tested for Teaching That Clicks

AU also reviewed key teaching and learning technologies. Computers, monitors, operating systems and classroom peripherals were tested in both laboratory and lecture settings. Wi-Fi speed and signal points across academic buildings were checked to support research, online learning and digital classroom activities. Projectors, microphones, speakers and sound systems were also inspected to ensure clear, uninterrupted classroom delivery.

A Ready Campus for a Ready Semester

The readiness inspection demonstrated AU’s commitment to maintaining high-quality educational facilities and reliable technology infrastructure. By preparing classrooms before the semester began, the university helped provide students and faculty with learning spaces that were safe, efficient and ready for meaningful academic engagement throughout the term.
