A group of 17 Students from Loyola University, Maryland, USA, to enroll in the AU-Loyola Study Aboard Program at Assumption University, was properly welcomed and given a guided tour around Assumption University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus.

2019 Assumption Day and Crowning Ceremony
Assumption Day and Crowning Ceremony 2019 (Feast-Day of the Virgin Mary) was impressively celebrated with careful attention to all the ceremonial details and accompanying proceedings. The momentous occasion also marking the significant milestone of Assumption University’s 50th Anniversary, started with the Grand Holy Mass presided over by H.E. Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam, Apostolic Nuncio to the Kingdom of Thailand and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps of Thailand, followed by the Crowning Ceremony (Crowning of the Virgin Mary) to honor “The Seat of Wisdom” performed by Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus.

Orientation for Inbound Exchange Program Students (1/2019)
An orientation for International Students of Inbound Exchange Program from several countries: Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Japan, South Korea and Australia who are currently enrolled in different faculties and programs at Assumption University. These foreign students were given proper guidelines, directions and useful advice for their easy adjustments aimed at enhancing their successful exchange study programs.

Nakhon Ratchsima Rajabhat University’s Faculty Members and Students’ Academic Visit to AU Library
A group of faculty members and about 51 students of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Information and Library Sciences of Nakhon Rachasima Rajabhat University, visited the AU Library. They were on an educational and familiarization tour of the AU library to enhance their direct learning experiences in the related information and library science field and observe how English is practically used in the AU library’s services.

The most significantly ambitious academic cooperation between Assumption University and the Office of the Judiciary, Court of Justice, Thailand, has recently been initiated with the signed MOU between the two renowned institutions. Such academic collaboration will enable the Court of Justice’s legal officials, professionals and public servants to enroll in the AU School of Law’s Thai and International Graduate Evening Law Programs.

Law Student Club’s Committee Members organized an induction camp participated by about 50 law students. The students’ field trip and social gathering at the Khruenwan Resort, Muak Lek, Saraburi Province, was part of the familiarization outing program; enhancing and strengthening their relationship, friendship, creating friendly bonds especially among peers, freshman and senior students.
