Japanese Students Visit

A group of about 15 Japanese students from Sophia University, Japan, visited Assumption University. After being welcomed and adequately briefed about the University’s background, affairs and educational systems, the visiting student group was given an impressive guided tour around Suvarnabhumi Campus.

Germany’s Dresden Internal University’s Executives’ Visit to Assumption University visited

A group of executives from Dresden International University, Germany, led by Prof. Reiner Lasch visited Assumption University.  Warmly greeted and welcomed by the AU executives and administrators, the VIP guests were given a guided tour around Suvarnabhumi Campus.

A group of executives from Nihon University, Japan, visited Assumption University. Prior to their guided tour around Suvarnabhumi Campus, the visiting VIP guests were properly welcomed and briefed about the University’s background, affairs and relevant details by the AU executives.

AU Loy Krathong Festival 2019

The fun-filled Loy Krathong festival “The AU Loy with You: 15th Khum Deaun Rak” in the atmosphere of “Romantic Temple Fair” was joyfully celebrated greatly impressing and entertaining both Thai and international student community members. The festive and glittering evening featured a full range of exciting activities: stalls showcasing both Thai and foreign food & beverages, game booths, traditional dances, shows, performances and the usual glamorous Miss Noppamas Beauty Contest

Visit of Singaporean Executives from KLC International Institute (KLC II)

Mr. Desmond Seah, Vice President, International Institute (KLC II), Singapore, and his assistant visited Assumption University.  After being welcomed and properly briefed by the AU executives, they were led on a guided Suvarnabhumi Campus tour.

Visit of Provincial Superior of the Indonesian Montfort Fathers

Rev. Antinious Tesi, SMM, Provincial Superior of the Montfort Fathers, Indonesia, and his team visited Assumption University.  After being greeted and warmly welcomed by the AU executives at both campuses, they were given a guided tour around Suvarnabhumi Campus.

Wine Festival 2019

The very lively, fun-filled Wine Festival night themed “BIOTECH ABAC 5.0” was organized by the AU Faculty of Biotechnology for discerning wine lovers and enthusiasts to taste the best-prepared wines & beers and admire an impressive range of Biotechnology students’ exhibited wine products prepared with a variety of fruits. On this special occasion, the Birthday celebration was specially arranged for both Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas, President Emeritus and Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President-Rector Magnificus.

Assumption College Rayong’s Students on Educational Tour (Field Trip) at AU’s Suvarnabhumi Campus

A group of about 180 students from Assumption College Rayong was on a study tour of Assumption University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus observing classes, being exposed to the AU’s advanced tertiary teaching and learning systems.

Indonesian Students on Tour of Study of AU School of Law

A group of Indonesian Students from Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta, Indonesia, was on an educational tour of the AU School of Law.  The visit aimed at strengthening the academic development and collaboration between the universities. The visiting students were warmly welcomed by Asst. Prof. Nachatchaya Thongjan, Assistant to the Dean for Administrative Affairs, AU School of law.

An international conference on the very highly innovative and thought-provoking topic of “Perspectives of Media and its Social Impacts in the Age of Globalization” was organized by the AU Graduate Programs of Philosophy & Religion, Graduate School of Human Sciences, in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer Stiftung e.V., Thailand Office and the Guna Chakra Research Center.

University of the Philippines  Diliman’s Ph.D. Students on Educational Tour 

A group of Ph.D. students of Comparative Educational Administration Course, the University of the Philippines  Dilimanled by Dr. Lourdes Tanhueco-Nepomuceno, and the accompanying group of University executives, was on a study tour of Assumption University.

Special Lecture by Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A very special lecture aimed at enhancing knowledge, understanding and meaningful learning experiences of the AU’s students from Department of Management – Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, was delivered by a VIP Guest Speaker, H.E. Ms. Raushan Yesbulatova, an Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Thailand.

Lecture on “Managing Guests’ Relationship for Long-term Success”

An AU group of students currently enrolled in the English for Hotels Course, Theodore Maria School of Arts, was given a specially organized lecture on “Managing Guests’ Relationship for a Long-term Success” at Suvarnabhumi Campus.  The very meaningful and practical lecture presented by Mr. Pannapat Thamanuwat, Sales Executive-Corporate, the Novotel Suvarnbhumi Bangkok Hotel, which was highly educational, informative and greatly relevant to the students’ course.

A highly distinguished Vietnamese Cardinal and his party spent a day visiting Assumption University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus. After being greeted and warmly welcomed by the AU executives, the visiting VIP guests were given an impressive  tour; surveying the grand Suvarnabhumi Campus.

Lomsak Wittayakhom School’s Students on Educational Tour

A visiting group of teachers and about 90 students from Lomsak Wittayakhom School spent a day on a study tour of Assumption University.  This eye-opening educational field trip provided them with the valuable learning experiences; familiarizing themselves with the AU educational systems; observing classes, teaching and learning methods on top of the impressive campus tour inspecting the highly advanced AU’s facilities.

Special Lecture on “ Modern Trends in Airline Industry”

Intended to enhance knowledge and meaningful learning experiences of the AU’s Business English students currently enrolled in an “English for Tourism” class, a special lecture on “Modern Trends in Airline Industry” was presented by A. Pakpong Youngyuen, Part-time Lecturer of Airline Industry.  The lecture was participated by students, faculty members and staff from the AU Theodore Maria School of Arts.

Indian Lecturers and Students on Study Tour

A group of Indian lecturers and students from St. Peter’s Institute of Higher Education was on an educational tour of Assumption University, getting exposed to the research on Cultural Immersion Program and the overall AU’s educational systems and study projects.  The group toured Suvarnabhumi Campus towards the end of their visit.
