Assumption University of Thailand (AU), led by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph. D., President, recently conducted a high-level diplomatic and academic visit to the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater (UWW), USA. The visit culminated in a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, marking 15 years of transformative collaboration between the two institutions.
The ceremony was co-signed by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka and Chancellor Dr. Corey King, symbolizing a shared vision for global education. Central to the visit were strategic dialogues with UWW’s senior academic leadership, including Interim Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Robin Fox. These discussions reinforced both universities’ dedication to promoting global learning, cross-cultural understanding, and rigorous academic excellence.
A Legacy of Innovation and Global Engagement
The AU delegation also explored UWW’s thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem through an engaging forum with faculty and students. A significant highlight included reflections on the 2025 Enactus World Cup in Bangkok, illustrating the global reach of the partnership and its impact on social innovation.
