On a crisp January morning, the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science (BLNS) from Assumption University of Thailand (AU), visited Chularat 9 Airport Hospital in Samut Prakan for a historic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership marks a significant milestone in advancing healthcare education and innovationas well as health services.
The AU delegation was led by Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Dean of BLNS. Joining her were Assistant Professor Dr. Onouma Thummapol, Associate Dean, Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Chairperson of the Academic Committee, Dr. Sansani Rattanawaraha,Chairperson of Certificate Program for Practical Nursing, and esteem nursing instructors consisting of Assistant Professor Dr. Siriporn Poonruksa, Ms. Napaswan Namboonsri, and Ms. Sumonrat Supkeit. The team’s visit highlighted AU’s dedication to fostering global standards in nursing education.
On behalf of Chularat 9 Airport Hospital, Dr. Yudthana Sanguansakdikosol, ExCom, Deputy CEO CHG and Hospital Director, along with Dr. Kittikkrai Kraikaew, Deputy Hospital Director of Medical Affairs, and hospital administrators welcomed the delegation. Under the hospital director’s leadership, the hospital has become a leading healthcare settingwell-known for its exceptional services and advanced medical technology.
The five-year MoU formalizes a partnership to:
Enhance clinical training opportunities for nursing students and practical nursing students.
Support faculty development through specialized practice.
Launch collaborative research projects to address emerging healthcare challenges.
Promote public health through joint community programs.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Dr. Phat shared, “This MoU reflects our shared commitment to nurturing competent, compassionate healthcare professionals. By integrating theoretical knowledge with real-world practice, we are not just educating nurses but preparing future leaders in healthcare.”
