The Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly celebrated the academic success of three of its distinguished scholars following the acceptance of their article for publication in the Journal of Learning Innovation and Technology (JLIT), Volume 6, Issue 2, scheduled for August 2026.
Dr. Patana Duangpatra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutthaphut Pandjad, and Dr. Benjawan Apinunrungroj earned this recognition for their article, Hybrid Information-Seeking Behavior of Upper Secondary Students in the Age of Algorithms. Their work explored how upper secondary students searched for, selected and interpreted information in a digital environment increasingly shaped by algorithms.
The study offered timely insight into the way young learners engaged with information today, while also highlighting the growing importance of digital literacy and critical thinking. By examining information-seeking behavior in an algorithm-driven world, the research contributed meaningful knowledge to current academic conversations on education, technology and media use.
This achievement reflected not only the authors’ scholarly dedication, but also the strength of research culture within the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts. Their success brought pride to the School and reinforced Assumption University’s commitment to academic excellence, innovation and research that spoke to the realities of contemporary life.
The acceptance of the article stood as a well-earned milestone for all three scholars and a fine example of how AU faculty continued to produce work that was relevant, thoughtful and internationally publishable.
The AU community warmly congratulates Dr. Patana Duangpatra, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutthaphut Pandjad, and Dr. Benjawan Apinunrungroj on this impressive accomplishment and wishes them continued success in their future academic work.
