Assumption University of Thailand(AU) hosted academic and industry partners on March 28, 2026, for the Thailand “Chinauto Skills Center” MoU Signing Ceremony, marking a significant step in advancing international collaboration in new energy vehicle (NEV) education and industry-linked training, and formally appointing the Chinauto Skills Center in Thailand.
Held at the Gabriel Mary Research and Learning Center for New Energy Vehicle Technology, Suvarnabhumi Campus, the event brought together representatives from SAIC Motor-MG , IM Motors Technology Co., Ltd., and MAXUS Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., along with distinguished delegates from China and Thailand. The program featured opening remarks, a presentation of the “Chinauto Skills Center” initiative, and the formal MoU signing.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the official appointment of AU as the Chinauto Skills Center in Thailand, alongside a shared vision to bridge academic learning with real-world industry application. Guests also toured the center, highlighting the university’s strong commitment to innovation in NEV technology.
AU representatives included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Jittawiriyanukoon, Vice President for Research and Academic Services, Dr. Kitikorn Dowpiset, Vice President for Moral Development Education, Assistant Vice Presidents ,Deans, Directors along with faculty and staff from related faculties and offices.
The event reaffirmed the university’s role as a hub for international collaboration, emphasizing practical education, innovation, and future-ready talent development in the automotive sector.
