Martin’s Cup Makes Waves at AU

Suvarnabhumi Campus hosted the XXII Martin’s Cup Swimming Championships.


Assumption University of Thailand(AU) welcomed swimmers, coaches, and spectators to the XXII Martin’s Cup Swimming Championships, held from March 12–15, 2026 by Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, Student Affairs at the Assumption University ‘ s Aquatic Center on the Suvarnabhumi Campus. The four-day competition, presented by Arena, brought together talented athletes who demonstrated speed, endurance, and sportsmanship in one of the university’s most anticipated annual aquatic events.

A Tradition of Excellence in the Pool

Now in its 22nd edition, the Martin’s Cup has become a respected platform for competitive swimming, attracting participants from schools, clubs, and institutions eager to test their skills in a professional-level facility.

Hosted at Assumption University’s modern Aquatic Center, the championship highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting athletic excellence and youth development through sport. Over the course of four days, swimmers competed across multiple disciplines and distance categories, showcasing impressive performances and personal bests.

Competition Highlights

The championship featured a dynamic program of races, including freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke and medley events across multiple age as they powered through the water in closely contested races that reflected both intense training and remarkable determination.

Throughout the competition, coaches and officials praised the organization of the event and the quality of the venue, which provided swimmers with an ideal setting to perform at their highest level.
