On February 20, 2026, Ms. Jutta Schnell, Head of International Office at Nürtingen-Geislingen University (HfWU), visited Assumption University of Thailand (AU) for a dual-campus program designed to foster academic collaboration and student exchange.
The day began at Hua Mak Campus with a warm meet-and-greet at St. Louis Hall, hosted by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), followed by a meeting with Dr. Sansanee Aranyanak Khlaewkhla, Director of the Office of Graduate Studies, discussing undergraduate collaboration and opportunities to expand into graduate programs. A guided campus tour showcased AU’s vibrant learning environment and community spirit before proceeding to Suvarnabhumi Campus.
At Suvarnabhumi Campus, Ms. Jutta engaged with AU students including current HfWU exchange students and toured key landmarks including the Library, the Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort , AU Residence Halls, John Paul II Sports Center, AU Museum, and Gabriel Mary Research and Learning Center, highlighting AU’s academic resources, spiritual life, and student facilities.
The program concluded with an engaging discussion at the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), where Ms. Jutta exchanged insights with Dean Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn and Dr. Radha Sirianukul, Director of the Center for Global Engagement and Partnerships, underscoring opportunities for deeper ties under the existing MOU.
