Assumption University of Thailand Students Participate in The 16th World Peace Ethics Contest (WORLD-PEC) University 2025 on January 23-25, 2026
Assumption University of Thailand (AU) continued its commitment to ethics-based academic activities by sending 40 student representatives to the 16th World Peace Ethics Contest, an academic competition that promotes ethical reasoning, moral judgment, social responsibility, and inner peace-awareness among university students.
In the 16th (WORLD-PEC, university 2025 competition cycle, a total of 20 awards were presented. Students from AU received 15 awards. These results included First Prize and Second Runner-Up Prize. We also received 13 category-based awards within the overall framework, reflecting consistent performance across multiple evaluations. It also shows our university strengthens students’ ethical competencies, one of the (3Es) indicators of our university identities.
We integrated competition participation into GE’s ASAP project on extracurricular activities, with a focus on ethical analysis, collaborative problem-solving, and ethical living, thereby enhancing inner peace and aligning with learning outcomes for applying ethical reasoning in everyday life.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this event a success. Your engagement and contributions were invaluable to its success. Looking forward to the upcoming round on (WORLD-PEC) 2027.
