Prajñā Vihāra achieves Scopus indexing, marking a major milestone for AU research excellence.
Prajñā Vihāra, the academic journal published by Assumption University of Thailand (AU), was formally accepted for inclusion in Scopus on 23 December 2025, marking a major milestone in the journal’s academic journey.
This inclusion was made possible by the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center, and the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project (Phase 2, 2023-2026), who provided guidance and support in improving the journal and website. Special thanks go to Professor Prof. Dr. Narongrit Sombatsompop and his staff at TCI.
With Scopus indexing, the journal’s articles would now gain significantly wider international visibility, accessibility, and citation impact. Along with the other Scopus recognized journals at AU, it also boosts the University’s research profile.
Prajñā Vihāra is a multicultural and pluralistic journal of ethics, philosophy, and religious studies dedicated to the promotion of mutual understanding among the world’s diverse societies. True to the spirit of its Sanskrit name “Prajñā Vihāra,” meaning “temple of wisdom. It welcomes specialized articles in ethics, philosophy, religion, and cultural studies that promote harmony among philosophical and religious traditions while respecting cultural and religious diversity, with a particular emphasis on scholarship engaging with issues relevant to the Southeast Asian region.
