Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed the delegation from the Sichuan Integrative Medicine Hospital – Sichuan International Exchange Center of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The visit marked a new chapter of academic collaboration between China and Thailand, particularly in the fields of integrative and traditional medicine.
The visit on 12 December 2025 covered both the Hua Mak Campus and the Suvarnabhumi Campus, providing AU leaders and faculty members with opportunities for in-depth exchanges on health sciences, traditional medicine, and technology cooperation projects.
A Warm Welcome at the Hua Mak Campus
The delegation arrived at the Hua Mak Campus in the morning and began their visit with an official group photo. Leaders and faculty from the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science warmly received the guests and guided them on a campus tour, highlighting AU’s modern facilities, academic programs, and innovative approaches to healthcare education.
Afterward, both parties held a focused conference session, which successfully concluded with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement highlighted shared goals in academic exchange, professional development, and collaborative health-related initiatives.
Exploring AU‘s Suvarnabhumi Campus
Following the morning program, the delegation traveled to the Suvarnabhumi Campus for lunch and continued their visit. As AU’s flagship campus, it provided an ideal setting for productive discussions on future cooperation, joint training, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) exchange programs.
In the afternoon, the delegation departed for the airport, leaving with a deeper appreciation of AU’s strong academic foundation and international vision.
