On August 8, 2023 - Assumption University of Thailand is honored to host a delegation from Zhanjiang University of Science and Technology (ZUST) from Guangdong China for a two-day academic visit to both of their campuses.
The respected delegation included Mr. Min Li, President of ZUST; Mr. Jialong Li, Vice President; Mr. Shouqing Peng, Principal; Mr. Jiexiang Huang, Dean of the School of International Education; and Dr. Fan Ting Ting, CEO of Asia Innovation Education Co., Ltd. Their visit reflects ZUST's strong commitment to international academic partnerships and educational innovation.
Delegates received a warm welcome at Hua Mak Campus from AU's executives, deans, and program directors. The dialogue encompassed a broad range of topics, including faculty exchanges, collaborative research opportunities, and student exchange programs, reflecting the shared commitment to internationalization and high-quality education of both institutions.
Following the discussions, the delegates were treated to a VIP lunch, allowing for further informal exchange of ideas and strengthening of mutual understanding.
The second part of the visit saw the delegates embarking on a tour of AU's Suvarnabhumi Campus, also known as the 'university in a park'. The ZUST delegation had the chance to explore the innovative and sustainable campus design, state-of-the-art facilities, and the serene learning environment.
Assumption University extends its warmest thanks to the delegates from Zhanjiang University of Science and Technology for their visit and hopes this successful interaction will lay the groundwork for fruitful and long-term collaboration between both institutions.
