Assumption University's Thomas Aquinas School of Law hosted an important meeting on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the Salle d’ Expo Room, Hua Mak Campus. The meeting was aimed at preparing future legal minds with expertise in specialized law disciplines.

The event focused on four key law areas:

Information Technology and Intellectual Property Management: Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Suwan-in, the session explored the intersection of law and technology, discussing intellectual property rights, AI, innovation, and legal frameworks in the tech world.

Logistics and Law: Asst. Prof. Dr. Nachatchaya Thongjan and Dr. Tanasarn Chongpanish guided attendees through the legal aspects of the logistics industry, including transportation, insurance, and international trade laws.

Real Estate Business and Law: Asst. Prof. Dr. Sthianrapab Naluang, the Dean, delved into property law, zoning regulations, and real estate finance, outlining the legalities of real estate transactions.

Professional Lawyer in the Justice Process: Dr. Pattawee Sookhakich and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapat Limsiritong offered insights into the practical side of the legal profession, including bar exam requirements and courtroom dynamics.


 

 

 

 

 

The meeting saw active participation from approximately 100 students and their parents, who engaged in discussions with the heads of each law discipline. The initiative was praised for its role in preparing students for the challenges in these specialized legal areas.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sthianrapab Naluang expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, highlighting the importance of tailored legal education in a rapidly evolving global society. The event underscores Assumption University's commitment to nurturing adaptable legal professionals ready to make significant contributions across diverse legal and business domains.
