Over 800 Participants Unite at Assumption University's Graduate Welcome Day 2023

Bangkok, July 23, 2023 — Assumption University's School of Graduate Studies successfully organized an expansive welcome event, “Graduate Studies: Welcome Back to AU Family” on Saturday, July 22, 2023. The event aimed to foster a strong community spirit among faculty and students in the Graduate Studies programs for the academic year 2023.

Held from 10.00 am to 16.30 pm, the event served as a platform to enhance relationships among the AU Family, featuring participants from an array of Master's and Ph.D. programs. These included Business Administration, Management, Educational Leadership, Teaching and Technology, Technology, Education and Management, Innovative Technology Management, Counseling Psychology, Food Biotechnology, Information Technology, and Arts, Music, Sports and Entertainment Management.

Over 800 participants graced the occasion, comprising 730 Chinese students, members of AU's top management, faculty members, and a mix of guests from Thai-Chinese International College, Chengdu China/AODN, AUAA, AIS, and. Also in attendance were 30 hardworking members of the organizing staff and volunteer students.

The day's activities kicked off with an assembly at the Hall of Fame, CL Building, first floor, followed by an Opening Ceremony and an Arts Exhibition presented by Ph.D. Arts, Music, Sports and Entertainment Management students. The afternoon saw attendees enjoy a get-together lunch at The Grand Salon (St. Raphael's Hall) and The Plaza CL Building (Ground floor), providing an opportunity for interactive engagement between faculty and students.

A series of stage performances were the highlight of the afternoon, featuring music, dance, and an extravaganza at the John Paul II Sports Center. The successful day came to an end at 16.30 pm, marking a significant step in fostering camaraderie and communication within the Assumption University community.
