The Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science organized the Capping Ceremony for Nursing Students, Class of 2024 at Auditorium, Hua Mak Campus on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 13:00-15:00 Hours.
This ceremony aimed to adorn nursing caps to qualified nursing students, to inspire nursing students to continue their studies successfully, and to promote students’ good attitudes toward nursing profession. Twenty-four nursing students were eligible to attend this Capping Ceremony consisting of 70 % Thais, and 30 % international students including Chinese, Russian, Burmese, British, Filipino, and Ghanaian students.
There were 150 participants consisting of AU administrators, parents, faculty members, students, distinguished guests from North Bangkok University (Dean, Faculty of Nursing Science), Bumrungrad hospital, Piyavate hospital, Vejthani hospital, and Klong Kaja School. The ceremony consisted of opening and closing prayers by Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education & University Campus Minister; Academic address By Dr. Pimsiri Bhusiri, Dean, Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Assumption University of Thailand (AU); Capping Ceremony; Commentary speech By Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the University President; and ended with group photo session. On this special occasion, A. Alberto Firrincieli, a full-time lecturer of Louis Nobiron School of Music kindly played the piano during this capping ceremony.
