WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY

As dawn broke over the Suvarnabhumi Campus this past Saturday, the future of AU walked through its doors. The John Paul II Sports Center, standing proud in the gentle morning light, was ready to greet the newest members of the AU family.

By 7:15 AM, the campus was alive with the sound of new students gathering—some quiet with anticipation, others abuzz with excitement. This was no ordinary day; it was the Induction Day for the latest cohort of learners eager to carve out their own paths within these hallowed halls.

The day unfolded with the precision of a well-orchestrated symphony. After a warm welcome and a smooth registration process, students were ushered into the heart of the event. At 9:00 AM, the university's introduction video painted a picture of the rich heritage and the vibrant student life that awaited them, bridging the gap between the past and the future.

Assistant Professor Dr. Uree Cheaskul, Deputy, Vice President for Academic Affairs didn't just offer a mere welcome; she extended a call to academic excellence and personal growth that struck a chord with everyone in the room. The following presentation by A. Piya Sailomraksa from Student Affairs introduced the students to their new community, emphasizing the importance of communication and collaboration within the university's ecosystem.

The faculty meet-and-greet was a melting pot of ideas and aspirations. Students met face-to-face with the mentors who would guide them, challenge them, and inspire them to reach new heights. The air was electric with the promise of potential, each conversation a seed for future success.

As the day came to a close and students gathered once more to return to the Hua Mak Campus, it was clear that the journey they had embarked upon was about much more than textbooks and lectures—it was about becoming part of a legacy. They left with more than just schedules and syllabi; they carried with them the spirit of AU, a torch passed on from one generation to the next.

And as the coaches departed, we, the AU community, watched with pride. For in these young minds lies our future, and the future is bright.
