Assumption University of Thailand (AU) is proud to announce the remarkable achievements of its Golf Team at the 49th National University Games, also known as the Nontri Games. Ms. Pusita Purahong, a first-year student from the Theodore Maria School of Arts, shone brightly by securing two gold medals in the individual women's golf category and contributing to the team's victory in the women's golf team category.


 

 

This outstanding performance has not only brought glory to AU but also caught the attention of Golf Channel Thailand. Ms. Purahong was recently featured on the "Club House Inside Tour" segment, "Golf Star," hosted by Jakraphan Yomjinda and Apichat Nanthaterm. During the interview, she shared her journey, aspirations, and goals in golf, highlighting her ambition to pursue a professional career in the sport.


 

 

AU President, Brother Bancha Saenghiran, expressed his admiration for the team's dedication and success, stating, "Our AU Golf Team's achievements at the National University Games are a reflection of their hard work, talent, and the spirit of excellence that defines our university. We are incredibly proud of Ms. Pusira Purahong and the entire team for their outstanding achievements and for representing AU with distinction on a national stage."
