In an inspirational display of unity and dedication, Assumption University Alumni Association (AUAA) successfully concluded its much-anticipated AU RUN 2023. The event was organized to commemorate the 90th birthday of Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas and showcased the university's unwavering commitment to its legacy and the well-being of its student community.
Two running distances were made available for participants: a 4.5 km and a 9.0 km route. The day began with words of encouragement from Assumption University's President, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran. His words emphasized not just the historical importance of the occasion but also the broader goals of fostering community spirit and promoting health and wellness.
Beyond just the athletic component, the AU RUN 2023 served as a platform for departments within the university to come together in a friendly competition. The event, however, went beyond a mere celebration and competition. A significant portion of the funds raised through registrations and sponsorships is earmarked for scholarships. This ensures that the legacy of Rev. Bro. Dr. Prathip M. Komolmas continues, as the university reaffirms its commitment to making education accessible to deserving students.

Good morning to all.
Today, we come together not only as runners but as a community honoring the lasting legacy of Rev. Bro. Martin on the anniversary year of his 90th birthday. His dedication and service to Assumption University is a beacon for all of us, and this run is our small way of showing appreciation.
I'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Assumption University Alumni Association (AUAA) for conceptualizing and bringing to life the AU Run 2023. It is through their efforts and vision that we stand here, united in purpose.
To our organizers, the volunteers, and our sponsors: your contributions are the backbone of this event. Without your hard work, support, and belief in our cause, today would not have been possible.
This race symbolizes more than just distance covered; it represents our collective spirit, unity, and the drive to give back to our community. Every step taken today contributes to the scholarships that will shape our students' futures.
