WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY

Assumption University's Suvarnabhumi Campus was abuzz with excitement as the AU Games 2023, themed "The Game of Thrones," commenced yesterday, November 28. Organized by the Assumption University Student Organization (AUSO) in collaboration with Student Affairs, the event aims to foster health, sportsmanship, and unity among students.

The opening ceremony, marked by the AU Fun Run, saw participants racing for the crown in both 6-kilometer and 3-kilometer categories. In the women's 6-kilometer race, Ms. Thatsanee Jabrum emerged victorious, while Mr. Phranai Daowsuk claimed the title in the men's category. The 3-kilometer race was equally competitive, with Ms. Anima Losathapornpipit and Mr. Apiwat Intawichai winning in their respective categories.

The AU Games 2023 will continue until December 21, featuring a variety of sports competitions, including football, basketball, volleyball, chairball, badminton, table tennis, and e-sports. These events not only promise to showcase the athletic talents of the students but also aim to strengthen the sense of community within the university.
