Assumption University of Thailand (AU) is thrilled to announce that two of its students have been crowned Players of the Year 2023 in the prestigious Gen Z Golf Tour: Bangchak Champions Cup. This accolade not only highlights the students' athletic prowess but also brings pride to the entire AU community.
The standout athletes are Ms. Kenika Boonprasert, a sophomore from Theodore Maria School of Arts and Mr. Bhudinun Sriornrod, a freshman Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.
Their remarkable achievements were spotlighted on "Club House Inside Tour," a popular golf program on True Vision's Golf Channel. Hosted by Jakraphan Yomjinda and Apichat Nanthaterm, the show delved into the students' journey from amateur golfers to Players of the Year. The hosts also explored the students' academic commitments and their aspirations for a future in professional golf.
The Gen Z Golf Tour is a highly competitive event that attracts young talent from across the country. The Bangchak Champions Cup is one of the tour's most esteemed tournaments, making this win particularly significant for the AU community.
