On March 15, 2023, Ms. Ildikó Antal, Director of International Relations and Confucius Institute of International Business Academy (IBA), Denmark, visited Assumption University of Thailand (AU).
Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of AU, welcomed Ms. Ildikó Antal and provided an introduction to AU's history, faculties and its past and current collaborations with overseas universities at Confucius Institute (CIAU), 7th floor CL building, Suvarnabhumi Campus.
Assoc. Prof. Yang Hairong, Director of Confucius Institute at Assumption University, introduced CIAU teaching environment, Chinese courses and cultural activities to Ms. Ildikó Antal and they exchanged information on the development of Confucius Institutes with each other.
After the meeting, Ms. Ildikó Antal was given a tour of Suvarnabhumi Campus accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Yang Hairong and CIAU members. Then Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong, Vice President for Moral Development Education, the University Campus Ministry, and Director, John Paul II Center for Catholic Social Thought, had a cordial conversation with the guest.
Ms.Ildikó Antal also visited Office of the University Registrar to discuss the possibilities of the student exchange program between IBA and AU.
In the afternoon, Ms.Ildikó Antal visited Mr. Glen Chatelier, Director of the Office of International Affairs, at Office of International Affairs, Hua Mak Campus, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Yang Hairong and CIAU members. They discussed how to promote the cooperation between IBA, AU and CIAU.
This visit helps to exchanges and cooperation between International Business Academy (IBA), Denmark and Assumption University of Thailand (AU).
