December 5 is considered as a special day of Thailand declared by the Royal Thai Government as the National Day of the country. This also commemorates the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, and Thailand’s Father’s Day. Known as Rama IX, he reigned Thailand since 9 June 1946 until his death on 13 October 2016, making him the longest-reigning monarch ever in Thailand's history.
To commemorate His Majesty the late King's kindness towards the Thai people throughout his reign through many royal projects and activities in many aspects, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has prepared the information about his biography royal activities in various fields to propagate tit with gratitude and to honor his genius. Meanwhile, Assumption University Community will take His Majesty as a role model in education and implementation.
