Assumption University of Thailand's Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science has proudly launched its Preceptorship Training program, starting with a visionary address from AU President Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, "Congratulations to all involved in the Preceptorship Training program. This marks a momentous step in healthcare education at Assumption University, as we celebrate the union of academic excellence and clinical skills. Together, we are setting a new standard for nursing education," he expressed during the opening ceremony.
Yesterday's sessions delved into essential health system frameworks and the core competencies required for professional nursing. Today, the training continues with in-depth explorations of Outcome-Based Education in nursing curriculum and the application of the nursing process.
This specialized training is part of the university's initiative to foster a new era of nursing education leaders, fully equipped to take on the challenges of modern healthcare education. Through theoretical instruction and practical application, the program is set to enhance the skill sets of nurse educators and preceptors significantly.
Participants have expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to learn from distinguished professionals and apply advanced pedagogical methods in their practice. The Preceptorship Training is expected to create a ripple effect, improving nursing education standards across the region.
