Under the Mid-Autumn Moon, Bridging China and Thailand

Objective:
To further fulfill the important role of the Confucius Institute in promoting the Chinese language and culture and fostering cultural exchange between China and Thailand, enrich campus cultural life, and deepen Thai teachers’ and students’ understanding of traditional Chinese festivals and Chinese culture, the Confucius Institute plans to organize a series of cultural experience activities as part of “Confucius Institute Day,” with the Mid-Autumn Festival as the central theme.
The activities will feature an experiential, interactive, and open approach, aims to introduce the traditional Chinese culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival to AU members. Through activities like Chinese song , traditional dance, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese tea ceremony performance and moon cake making, participants will experience the Festival’s customs and promote cross-cultural understanding.
