April 3, 2026 — Assumption College Thonburi (ACT) successfully hosted an intensive public speaking and pitching workshop today for 16 M5 students, led by Dr. Ernest Michael Seely, Deputy Director of the Institute of English Language Education (IELE),Theodore Maria School of Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU)
The three-hour session focused on elite university preparation. Students mastered the “A-B-C” academic structure and the “4-Step Pitch Formula,” demonstrating immediate growth in poise, vocal clarity, and persuasive logic while presenting solutions for institutional and community challenges.
“These students showed a remarkable aptitude for the structured, purposeful communication expected at the university level,” said Dr. Seely.
Building on the positive learning experience, IELE and Assumption College Thonburi look forward to continued collaboration through future English language skills workshops. Schools and organizations interested in hosting similar workshops are welcome to contact IELE for more information.
