WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
The Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) warmly welcomed its newest cohort of students during the 2025 AAU Annual Orientation on June 12, 2025. Led by Prof. Dr. Sonthya Vanichvatana, Dean of the School, alongside Chairpersons, faculty members, and senior students from all majors, the event offered a strong sense of community and support for the incoming class.
Held at Thailand’s only international private university offering professional degree programs in architecture and interior design, the School used the orientation to introduce first-year students to key academic staff, support services, and the creative learning culture that defines the Montfort experience. Students also explored studio spaces and were introduced to the expectations and opportunities that lie ahead.
The event not only helped new students transition smoothly into university life, but also re-energized returning students as they prepared for a new academic year. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sonthya, the School continues to foster a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking environment for future architects and designers.
