The ZOO ZA Roared to Life with Creativity and Connection

WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY

On June 12, 2025, the Blackbox Theatre at Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Suvarnabhumi Campus was transformed into a vibrant hub of energy, laughter, and collaboration as the CA First Meeting: CA The ZOOZA welcomed incoming Communication Arts (CA) students. Hosted by the CA Student Activity and Experience team, the event kicked off the new academic year with a dynamic blend of creativity, connection, and community spirit.

The evening began with a heartfelt welcome by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutthaphut Pandjad, Dean of the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, who encouraged students to embrace creativity, courage, and collaboration as they begin their journey at AU.

Through playful ice-breaking games and team-building challenges, first-year students, seniors, and faculty members came together to break barriers, spark conversations, and form new friendships in a supportive and spirited environment. The event concluded with a lively live music session and photo opportunities—capturing smiles, shared experiences, and the unmistakable CA energy.

The ZOOZA also introduced students to CA’s distinctive PLEARN philosophy—Play and Learn—which combines creativity, real-world practice, and industry collaboration. Students were inspired to explore CA’s three future-focused programs:

Creative Commercial Communication (CCC)
Creative Communication Design (CCD)
Imagineer Media Entrepreneurship (IME)

These innovative programs are designed to equip graduates with practical skills, creative thinking, and a global perspective—preparing them to thrive in the ever-evolving communication and media industries.

The ZOOZA wasn’t just an event; it was a powerful first step into a creative, connected, and confident CA experience.
