AU marked Children’s Day 2026 by supporting schools and inspiring young learners.
On 9 January 2026, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), through its Institute of Research and Academic Services, in collaboration with the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts and the Central Library, carried out academic service activities in celebration of National Children’s Day 2026.
The initiative aimed to promote educational opportunities, encourage learning, and uplift children and youth in communities surrounding the University’s Suvarnabhumi Campus, reinforcing AU’s role as an engaged and socially responsible institution.
As part of the program, representatives from the University joined the official Children’s Day opening ceremony at Pak Klong Chuad Yai School. On this occasion, scholarships were presented to students who received awards in a recycled materials invention contest organized under the school’s energy conservation and environmental sustainability project, conducted in collaboration with AU.
The contest encouraged creativity, environmental awareness, and practical problem-solving skills, reflecting the shared commitment of the University and the school to nurturing responsible and innovative young learners.
In addition, the University delegation visited Wat Sukantawas School and Klongsabadjak School, where learning materials, stationery, and snacks were donated to support Children’s Day activities. These contributions helped create a joyful learning environment while strengthening positive relationships between the University and neighboring communities.
Through these outreach activities, AU reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to community engagement, youth development, and educational equity, working hand in hand with local schools to inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning among young students.
