Seisen University President Visits AU

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was honoured to welcome Professor Tatsuya Yamamoto, President of Seisen University, Japan, on  February 5, 2026 for a visit dedicated to strengthening long-term academic friendship.

The programme began at Sala Jaturamukpaichit with a welcome from the Office of International Affairs. Professor Yamamoto then met with representative students from the Business Japanese program in the Theodore Maria School of Arts for discussion and brainstorming, sharing academic perspectives together with Dr. Chayada Thanavisuth, Dean of the Theodore Maria School of Arts, Dr. Siriwan Preechanarit, Chairperson of the Department of Business Japanese, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thananporn Sethjinda, Director of the Office of International Affairs.

The visit continued at the AU Museum, including the Resonance China–Thailand Arts Exchange Exhibition, highlighting the university’s role in cultural connection and regional dialogue.

Both universities shared a strong wish to develop meaningful and lasting cooperation. AU warmly thanks Professor Yamamoto and Seisen University and looks forward to the next chapter of partnership.
