A first-year student from the MSME Business School made waves on the international sailing stage.
Ms. Thorfan Bunnak, a Year 1 student of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), achieved an impressive 2nd Place finish in the ILCA 6 category at the prestigious Phuket King’s Cup Regatta, one of Asia’s most respected sailing competitions.
The regatta was held from 28 November to 6 December 2025 on Phuket, drawing elite sailors from Thailand and abroad to compete in a highly competitive international field.
Thorfan’s achievement reflected not only technical skill and discipline, but also resilience, strategic thinking, and composure under pressure, qualities that mirror the values fostered at AU and the MSEM Business School.
Her success at such a high-profile sporting event highlighted the ability of AU students to excel beyond the classroom, balancing academic commitment with excellence on the global stage.
